How Can Parents Add Language and Pretend Play Ideas to Outdoor Activities?
It’s Better Hearing and Speech Month and our staff is excited to share some fun ideas to add language and learning to all kinds of activities. First off, we know that kids love playing outside, moving their bodies and riding different equipment. You can add language and pretend play with just a little chalk. When your child is outside riding a bike or scooter, you can draw different destinations and tracks or roads for him/her to run, skip and ride and help your child communicate through words, sentences and even pictures!
